You know. I find now after a day of no real sleep and quiet contemplation that I have come to know a real truth with a capital T.

Writers block doesn't just pertain to those of us that write.

Life is like a collection of book in the massive library of the universe. Every one of us is one of those books. Each having many chapters in our lives, we write our own stories. We can only influence our own stories.

I want to turn the page and start the next chapeter of my story. I've decided that from this day forth that I want to strive to be positive and influence my realm of influence in a positive way.

I'm tired of feeling like a burden on those I care about, tired of never acomplishing anything because I'm always focusing on the negative aspects on my life. I have a sucky job or that my car works only half the time or I can't afford to get back in school.

But what about the positive things in my life. I have a family that loves me, friends that support me, a job that at least pays the bills when so many are out of work, A beautiful dog, a roof over my head, creative genius, a car that works half the time instead of not at all. I have so much to be thankful for and I want to start focusin on those instead of the negative.

I thank Dr. Zook-bell for her patience. I know she's getting paid for this but it takes a special kind of person to do what she does.

I thank suzy for taking me in when I had no where to go and was in a tight spot and for being a constant ray of sunshine even when she is going through a tough time herself.

I thank my family and friend for supporting me in the ways they can.

And most of all I thank my Dad for believing in me when I didn't believe in myself. he's shown me the right way to live so many ways that it hurts to think that I've been so blind. Thanks for the advice and patience, the love and the firm hand when needed. Thank you for every ounce of energy you've put into me. If I do one thing in my life I want to be like you. Then I know that I will have accomplished something good for myself.

Today marks a new page for me. If I don't change I will be stuck on this chapter forever and I will never see what wonders my life has for me.
